MEETING BETWEEN MCI, ASIA MOBILITI AND THE MINISTRY OF HIGHER EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND CULTURE

Chief of Staff of the Vice Minister of the MCI, Mrs. Natalina M.H.H. Assis, together with the representatives of the company ASIA MOBILITI, met with the Interim DGESC, Mrs. Amélia da Silva Araújo, in the DGESC Room, in Dili.

At this meeting, ASIA MOBILITI gave a presentation on the digital payment project for public transport that the company has implemented in South Asian countries. The ASIA MOBILITI mission came to Timor-Leste to present the digital payment project for public transport, which in a first phase will initially be applied to the transport of "Microlet" minibuses that circulate in the capital, Dili. The presentation demonstrated, through a demonstration, how the public and students will be able to use the TIMOR PASS app and the NFC Card in the future, in public transport.

The main objective of this meeting is to create synergy between MCI, MESCC and ASIA MOBILITI to implement the digital payment project for Public Transport in Timor-Leste.
