The Minister of Commerce and Industry, H.E. Sr. Filipus Nino Pereira, had a meeting with the General Director of UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) Mr. Gerd Muller, in Austria.
The purpose of this meeting was to discuss how UNIDO can help Timor-Leste to develop and diversify the domestic economy and action plans for Agribusiness, coffee, fisheries, factory processing zones and exports.
At the same time, this meeting also discussed Timor-Leste’s preparation to join UNIDO as a member in the near future.
