Two new senior positions at the Ministry of Trade and Industry were inaugurated as Deputy Inspector of the Office and Director of the MCI Services Unit in the Municipality of Lautรฉm, with the aim of strengthening the Ministry's services at the local level. In his speech, His Excellency, the Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr. Nino Pereira, emphasized that the Ministry's organizational structure is now complete at both the municipal and national levels. "We have completed this structure at the municipal and national levels thanks to our interministerial cooperation, especially with the Public Service, which has successfully fulfilled its role. This inauguration ceremony reflects our continued commitment to public service in a professional manner, with the goal of serving. We always emphasize the importance of delivering quality service, and those who take on responsibilities must demonstrate this through their oath," stated the Minister of MCI.
At the same ceremony, the President of the Public Service Commission (PSC), Mr. Agostinho Letencio de Deus, expressed his appreciation for the changes at the MCI and encouraged the new leaders to demonstrate creativity and innovation to improve the institutions they will lead.
"We remind you that, with the IX Government's policy, we seek to create new jobs. We want to express our gratitude to the Minister for the changes we have seen. These changes bring solutions to the employment issue, which is still heavily concentrated in public administration, and we ask for your commitment to work diligently and bring innovations to the areas where you operate," said the President of the PSC.
The inauguration ceremony for the two new leaders was held at the Minister's Office in Bebora, Dili, and was attended by His Excellency, the Vice Minister of MCI, Mr. Augusto Jรบnior Trindade, the President of the PSC, Mr. Agostinho Letencio de Deus, MCI advisors, staff, and the families of the newly appointed officials.
