His Excellency, the Vice-Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Augusto Jรบnior Trindade, presided over the opening ceremony of the National Seminar for the dissemination of Decree-Law No. 27/2023 of September 14 and Ministerial Diploma No. 23/2024 of March 20. The event was organized by the Legal Office of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MCI) and held at the Fomento Mandarin Hall in Dรญli.

The objective of this initiative is to provide detailed guidance to central and municipal-level Directorates and Departments to ensure effective understanding and implementation of the competencies established in these legal documents, which govern the structure and organization of the MCI.

In his opening remarks, the Vice-Minister emphasized that the dissemination of these legal documents aims to facilitate and regulate leadership roles, allowing department heads to assume their responsibilities with greater clarity.

โ€œThis dissemination helps us coordinate services better and strengthens leadership within the Ministryโ€™s structure,โ€ stated the Vice-Minister.

Mr. Gregรณrio da Silva, Coordinator of the Legal Office, highlighted the importance of sharing the Organic Law and internal regulations of the MCI to ensure that directors and department heads clearly understand their roles, contributing to more efficient management.

โ€œThe Organic Law of the MCI forms the legal foundation for the Ministryโ€™s administration and bureaucratic functioning,โ€ he said.

The seminar was attended by the Director General, National Directors, Department Heads, Municipal Directors, representatives from RAEOA, Chiefs of Staff, Advisors, and Technical Support Professionals.
