His Excellency the Minister and Vice Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr. Nino Pereira and Mr. Augusto Junior Trindade, accompanied by the National Director of External Trade and the delegation, participated in the 22nd AEM-India Consultation in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The meeting served to review the progress of the ASEAN-India Trade in Goods Agreement (AITIGA) Revision and to strengthen the commissionโ€™s mandate to carry out the review in order to achieve positive results for both sides.
The consultation also provided an opportunity to exchange views on regional and global economic developments, as well as on the direction of future ASEAN-India economic cooperation.
