VMCI and Officials Welcome Delegation from Macau-China

His Excellency the Vice-Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Augusto Junior Trindade, accompanied by the Director-General of Industry, the Coordinator of the Legal Support Office, and the Inspector of the Inspection and Internal Audit Office, proudly welcomed the representative of the Macau-China delegation, Mr. Jacinto Luiz, Member of the Administrative Council of the Institute for Trade and Investment Promotion of the Macau Special Administrative Region, who will participate in the Dili International Trade Expo 2025 (DITE) at the Dili Convention Center (CCD).

The Member of the Administrative Council of the Institute for Trade and Investment Promotion of the Macau Special Administrative Region, Mr. Jacinto Luiz, expressed his pride in visiting Timor-Leste for the first time, considering this visit a great privilege for his team, as it marks their first participation in the Dili International Trade Expo 2025.

According to him, Macau sees Timor-Leste as a small country but with great potential for international markets, especially since it has already become a WTO member and will soon join ASEAN. This, he said, is a source of pride and an opportunity to attract more investors to invest in Timor-Leste.
