Vice-Minister of Commerce and Industry Participates in ASEAN Joint SOM-SEOM Meeting

His Excellency the Vice-Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Augusto Júnior Trindade, the indicative Leader of Timor-Leste’s Senior Economic Officials' Meeting (SEOM), participates in the Joint Meeting of ASEAN Senior Officials (SOM) and Senior Economic Officials' Meeting (SEOM), at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC) in Malaysia.

This meeting discusses the analysis of the current geopolitical and geoeconomic landscape and provides an opportunity to discuss the region’s geopolitical situation, with the aim of strengthening coordination between the political security and economic pillars, and contains recommendations from ASEAN member states to strengthen cooperation.

Participating in the meeting is the Vice-Minister for ASEAN Affairs, Ms. Milena Rangel, Timor-Leste's SOM Leader, accompanied by delegates during the SOM and SEOM meeting.
