MNEC Consults With MCI On Post-Accession Roadmap For Implementation Of ASEAN Economic Agreement

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, as the Coordinating Ministry for Timor-Leste's Accession Process to ASEAN, consulted with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry on the Post-Accession Roadmap for the implementation of the ASEAN economic agreement. The consultation was attended by the Vice Minister of Commerce and Industry, His Excellency Mr. Augusto Júnior Trindade with capacity as Indicative SEOM Lead, Director General, National Director, MCI technical team as well as team from Economic Affairs Directorate MNEC and technical assessors from development partners. The objective of this consultation is to share ideas on the national roadmap for the implementation of the ASEAN economic agreement which MCI will be the key Ministry and will lead and coordinate with technical ministerial lines.
