Minister for Commerce and Industry H.E. Mr. Filipus Nino Pereira Had a meeting with staff from the French embassies to Indonesia and Timor-Leste, discussing bilateral cooperation in the Commerce and Industry section.

At this meeting, the Minister said the Ministry of Commerce and Industry is prioritizing the development of industrial parks and free trade zones. There have been feasibility studies conducted previously, but technical support is needed from all development partnerships to realize the program.

The Minister of Commerce and Industry also invited investors from France to invest in Timor-Leste, through the industrial park that the Timor-Leste government is establishing.

The representative of the head of the economic department of the French Embassy to Indonesia and Timor-Leste, Ms. Pauline Leduc, explained her desire to meet with the Minister of Commerce and Industry in order to strengthen bilateral relations in the area of commerce and industry.
